San Francisco!

On our way back home we stopped in San Francisco, and my Aunt Shirley played tour guide for us. We had a great time! It was gorgeous weather, and we did all the fun things. We went to the beach, the San Francisco Zoo, Pier 39, Fisherman's Wharf, rode on a cable car and a trolley car, and we went to the Jelly Belly factory and Fairy land.

My Brother In Law's Tribute to His Mom

Today is the two year anniversary of Tim's mom's death. We miss her a lot! Chris put this poem in the memorial section today and I thought it was really beautiful!

You were truly a gift from God above,
so much beauty, patience, grace and love.
You touched our hearts in so many ways,
your smile so bright even on the bad days.
You heard God's whisper call you home,
you didn't want to go and leave us alone.
You loved us so much, you held on tight,
till all the strength was gone
and you could no longer fight.
So you gave your hand to God

Kathryn's 6th Birthday!

Today is Kathryn's 6th birthday! It's really amazing to me that she is that old already! she is really growing up. I enjoy hanging out with her, and I appreciate how much she has matured. I can't believe she's heading to first grade in the fall. It's really amazing! Happy birthday Bug! I love you!

Disneyland!

We had a BLAST in Disneyland! Kathryn has been planning this trip since she was 18 months old, and it was worth the wait! We drove down, and enjoyed every minute of our trip...expect maybe walking in the 100 degree heat! Kaelyn loved seeing the characters, and waited in line to see each one. Kathryn loved the rides until she got spooked on Pirates of the Caribbean, and then was very apprehensive to go with Tim after that.

A Miracle in the Making

My friend Matt's leukemia and MDS are currently not present! This is an absolute miracle! He will go in for his bone marrow transplant on July 3rd. We are continuing to pray and thankful for the miracle already present. The doctors are shaking their heads, but we give the praise to God! We will keep pressing on in prayer!

KINDERGARTEN GRADUATION!

My baby graduated from kindergarten...I can't believe it. I feel like sometimes I'm so distracted that I forget to cherish each moment as it comes. They had a great graduation with songs, commencement, and a bbq. Her teacher even surprised me (which is amazing since she's one of my closest friends!) with a wonderful slide show! It was a great night! A few tears were shed, and it's strange to think that she will be in the grade that I've taught forever in just a few short months...she really does seem ready though! Congratulations Kathryn!
