The Pool is Up...Where's the Sun?

Tim and I had quite a time getting the pool up...but now, it's officially filling!  WAHOOO!!!

The kids have been waiting so paitiently, and today, they jumped in!

They don't seem to care that the pool is filled with hose water, and that the temperature outside is about 60 degrees!  Summer in Seattle right?

It started out that they were helping me get the wrinkles out of the pool, but by the end...they were officially swimimming and carwheeling and giggling!

Check out the smiles...who needs sun right?

Although a few 80 degree days would be fun!

Happy Birthday Bug!

A Reminder to love Agape Love

Today at church was a good reminder...

Marriage is about agape love.  It's about choosing to love, forever!  It's about sacrificing and making a concerted choice to be one.  God says we should cleave to one another and become one.

As our pastor read the marriage vows, I was reminded of the simplicity of the vows, yet the great depths of the words:

Those simple vows taken in covenant.  For commitment.

It's amazing how many times we let things get in the way.  But today, was a good reminder, to Love.

Our children are a gift of that love.

We are to love each other as Christ loves the church...now that is sacrificial love.

Just a reminder...

Tee Ball for Kaelyn

Jayden and Kaelyn had fun playing ponies and witches--it's not just a baseball bat right?

The Blue Goblins are ready for action!

I am so glad that Kaelyn is playing tee ball!  I love to watch baseball, and although this is a rather SLOW moving game, it's fun to watch her, and she's playing with good friends, so that's fun too!

Today she was proud because she got a true single off of a coach pitched ball...who needs a tee right?

She has decent instincts to catch the ball, and her swing is intermittently decent...she just pays attention to about half of the game...but I guess that's decent, right?

It's fun to watch her play!
