My daughter is not what you'd call an avid writer, in fact, it is often like pulling teeth to get her to put anything down on paper, but today, while we were writing, she decided to write a poem.
This is what she wrote...
One little snowflake falling down outside.
One little snowflake falling from the sky.
One little snowflake drifiting through the wind.
One little snowflake landed on my chin.
One little snowflake fell by the door.
One little snowflake turned into more.

She was so proud! I was so proud!
It reminded me of the days in church when I would write a poem each Sunday. I was impressed with the ease with which the cadence flowed. Way to go Kathryn! Keep on writing!

Day 41: February 11, 2011 Kathryn's Valentine's Dance
There was a fun Valentine's dance at school. Kathryn decided to get dressed up...I was execting her to be the only one, but I was wrong! All of the little girls were dressed up so cute. She had so much fun!
