Chuck E. Cheese

The other day I met my friend Julie at Chuck E. Cheese. I had Dustin and Tesa for the weekend, and Tim, Dustin and Kathryn were going to go fishing.

I took Tesa and Kaelyn to Chuck E.'s. Just as we were pulling into the parking lot, Tim called to tell me that the boat wasn't working, and they couldn't go fishing!!!!

At that point, I just carried on with the other girls, and we had a grand ol time at Chuck E. Cheese. I did feel slightly guilty, but what could I do?

The funny thing is, when we got home, Tim had a fire going, and we had friends over to roast marshmallows. Dustin and Kathryn never once complained that they missed going!

Caramel Apples!

I make carameled apples once a year. Last weekend we finally got around to making them, and Kathryn decided we needed to dip them in M&M's. YUMMY! We had fun nibbling the sweet treats, althought it was way too much for the girls! I love fall memories!

Halloween for all of our devoted fans!!!

Kaelyn decided on Ariel. She got the dress in Disneyland, and has never waivered on the fact that she would be Ariel for Halloween. She was actually sick in the morning with my mom, and we kind of just rushed her out the door, and she did great! It wasn't until later that she realized she never got her lipstick or hair done, but she had fun!







Kathryn has a passion for dogs. Everything she talks about, reads about, and writes about is DOGS! So, when she decided to be a puppy for Halloween I wasn't shocked. Grandma and Aunt E worked hard to make her a cute little costume! Her favorite part with the collar and leash! She wanted someone to walk her all night. It was perfect when Tim decided to be a hunter, so she could be his hunting dog!

The girls had a blast at Trunk or Treat and the carnival at our church!

School was crazy too! I had parents that came and decorated my room for Halloween, and then during the entire half day we did Halloween stations! CRAZY!

The End of the Fruitflies!!!

Our house became infested with fruitflies, well actually it was our kitchen, but it felt like our house! I fought them for two weeks, scrubbing the kitchen nightly, getting rid of all fruit etc, but to no avail.

I finally got on line and came up with a full attack! I tried as many different options as I could, searching for the best one!

The cooking sherry and small peaches container were the winners! I actually trapped over 150 fruit flies in three days! Yuck!
